22nd Annual 3rd Step Event

3rd Step is back in-person at The Quiet Cannon Event Center!


Join us as we make an impact on the lives of women recovering from drug and alcohol abuse. We will host a fun Welcome Party with several fun booths, followed by a formal sit-down luncheon with these beautiful ladies to enjoy a wonderful afternoon.

Your help is NEEDED with this year's in-person Event!

How To Get Involved:

There are various ways to volunteer, see all the areas below.

Hostess

(Women Only)

Hostesses will enjoy a sit-down luncheon with the women and make them feel welcomed

and loved, as well as offer prayer & encouragement. This is our area of greatest need for the event.

Welcome Party

(Women Only)

The Welcome Party Team will help with the setup and teardown of the Welcome Party as well as participate at various booths that will be available, such as crafts, make-up etc.

Set-up Crew

(Women & Men)

Set-up Crew will arrive well before the event starts to ensure everything is set up and ready for our special guests. Includes, but not limited to setting up pop-ups, tables, chairs etc.

Prayer Team

(Women Only)

The Prayer Team will pray for and with the ladies at the Prayer Booth during the Welcome Party as well as prayer support during the message.

Teardown Crew

(Women & Men)

Teardown Crew will help to ensure everything is packed up and ready to head to our storage. Includes, but not limited to taking down pop-ups, tables, chairs, load truck etc.

​

Goodie Bag Team

(Women & Men)

The Goodie Bag Team will be arriving early to ensure all goodie bags are ready to be handed out. They will also set-up and help distribute bags at the end of the event as the women depart.

Greeters

(Women Only)

 Greeters will be in various places throughout the event welcoming our beautiful guests and ensuring they feel loved and have needed info.

Security

(Women & Men)

Safety is a priority, our Security Team will be monitoring the event to ensure everyone follows the safety rules and regulations, as keep everyone in their designated areas.

​

All volunteers must attend a Volunteer Training Session to participate

at this year's 3rd Step Event.

    We will be assembling 600 goodie bags with books, journals, devotionals, bibles and hygiene products in preparation for the following day's event. We need your help to get the bags ready to bless these women in recovery homes.

  • Goodie Bag Donations: Women in recovery homes often arrive with no personal items including hygiene products. During our event, we provide each woman with a reusable goodie bag filled with a month's worth of hygiene products, a journal, a 3rd Step Book, a devotional, a pen and a Bible all packed in a reusable tote bag.

​

The cost to supply each woman with a goodie bag is $30.
Your $55 provides lunch & a goodie bag for a woman in recovery.

We are asking all volunteers to consider a $50 donation.

This will provide lunch and a goodie bag for one woman in recovery.

We have a goal to reach 600 ladies in recovery.
